Prahran Place Child Care

Our sessional child care service is for all families in and around Prahran in the City of Stonnington who need occasional child care. The centre has a vibrant, child-friendly, fit-for-purpose room that provides a wonderful backdrop for children as they get involved in a broad range of activities to engage their curious minds and their active, growing bodies. Our carers have been carefully selected to meet our high standards when it comes to caring for your children.

We are an approved child care provider in Prahran

Families can access the Child Care Subsidy for children enrolled at our centre. Eligibility criteria apply.

How to enrol your child

Our childcare operate five days a week and are located right near Prahran Market and Prahran Square.  It’s easy to enrol your child – either make an enquiry online or if you prefer, come in and see for yourself how great our child care service is. All sessions are 5 hours (See our reviews below).

Monday – Tuesday: 9am – 2pm  
Wednesday – Friday: 10am – 3pm

Fees: $75 per session

Childcare subsidy available (also reduced fees for families experiencing financial hardship).

My two-year-old daughter really loves it here! On the days she doesn’t attend she continuously asks if she can go. Before coming here, she mostly spoke Japanese but now she is using full English sentences and her vocabulary is expanding all the time.
